Nice, naughty And in between.
Here's some of my best print work — and proof that I can be a cheeky monkey.
Be careful what you wish for.
When the local Christian radio station asked me for something edgy, I proposed an electric guitar in flames with a headline that said, "Playing the hell out of rock since 1982." It turns out, they didn't want THAT edgy. But that's a good thing, because this billboard is a much better fit for their "family friendly" format. Still, the other one makes me chuckle. A lot. Is that wrong?
Oh, What the heli.
Here are a couple of ads I wrote for battling RC helicopters that could shoot each other out of the sky with a laser. I worked for an agency at the time, and we had a lot of fun testing them out in the office. I don't think the client ran any of them. But what the heck, I had a lot of fun writing them.
We've all been there.
I wrote this postcard series to help a bank announce its overdraft protection program. There were four different cards with the same copy on the back, letting customers know that even when their brains weren't engaged their financial protection would be.
Here's an ad for back-to-school physicals. Served with a side of fun.
One more naughty one for the road.
Let's just say that I wrote this ad for the local campus hospital and students dealing with issues.
